New Laptop.
Sunday 23rd November 2014

I finally bought a new laptop, I'm working a new job that pays well, plus people kept getting upset with the fact I was using Vista.
For reference, this is my Compaq Presario C700 laptop that I got back in 2008, It originally can with an Intel Pentium due core processor, 1GB ram 120GB hard drive and worst of all Windows vista Basic, later I put Windows 7 Professional on it and it ran a little better, I also put a 500GB laptop hard drive that came out of a dead PlayStation 3.
So I'm getting my old laptop ready for retirement, I deleted my user folder off the old unit, then I signed in to OneDrive on my new laptop to see that it was empty...
"Oh, that's not meant to happen?"
So I went back to my desktop, I discovered I still had all my data on that machine, I figured if I re-synced, it would put all my stuff back in the cloud. - Nope, it just deleted all the data off my desktop.
"That wasn't supposed to happen."
TL;DR I had to use previous version to recover all my stuff.
My new laptop is a Dell Inspiron 3000 x510404au 15-inch notebook, I bought it for university mostly, although I've only got one more year to go!

Sadly my new laptop doesn't fit in my old laptop bag...
The specs of my new laptop can be found here, they are:
- CPU: 4th Generation Intel Core i7-4510U Processor (4M Cache, 2.0 up to 3.10 GHz)
- Memory: 8GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 840M (2GB Memory)
- Storage: 1TB SSHDD (Solid-state hybrid drive)
- OS: Windows 8.1
I'll add it to my Computer History Table at some point.
